A rotating exhibition of artwork by Monroe Elementary students is on display for the next three days at Starbucks in Cheery Grove.
"The students studied an environmental artist named Bryant Holsenbeck whose work utilizes old credit cards and gift cards to make collages of animals and birds," explained Monroe art teacher Adrian Hawk. "Starbucks has been saving gift cards used by their customers for our art room. The artists at Monroe cut the cards and made some beautiful artworks from them (see below)....they are so lovely in person!"
