New Richmond Elementary School observed Veterans Day with its annual breakfast for veterans Nov. 11 hosted by principal Terry Miller and Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame member Ralph Shepherd. The program featured songs by the school's choir and introduction of local veterans including World War II veterans John Gilfillen, Joe Golfman and Bill Alexander.
