Cincinnati author Susan Levine visited New Richmond's Monroe Elementary and New Richmond Elementary schools Feb. 13 and 14 and told the story behind her book, 'Harriett's Homecoming,' the story about Hariett, a peregrine falcon who crashes into a skyscraper window and is rehabilitated and released from the top of the Carew Tower by a wildlife officer.
She was joined by Cindy Alverson and Lucy the peregrine falcon from RAPTOR Inc. in Milford, Ohio.
