New Richmond High School senior Micha Brumbaugh won the Annual County Spring Litter Clean-up T-shirt Design Contest. She was presented an award and $200.00 at the County Commissioner's meeting Feb. 25. Mich's design will be used for T-shirts worn by volunteers who participate in the 2015 Clermont County litter and river sweep clean-up campaigns.

Rousing sendoff for Jordyn Torrens
New Richmond High School Freshman Jordyn Torrens got a rousing sendoff Feb. 25 to the Ohio high school state swim meet in Canton where she will compete in the women's Division II 100 Yard Butterfly event. Jordyn became on the fifth New Richmond High School swimmer to qualifier for the state meet joining Debbie Kyle, Nate Kramer, Alex Lewis and Tyler David, all coached by New Richmond coaching legend Judy Middeler.

Softball Alumni Game schedule March 21
The 3rd annual 2015 Softball Alumni game is scheduled for Saturday, March 21st @ 2:30 pm on the varsity softball field. The 2015 Varsity team will scrimmage Little Miami at noon prior to the alumni game.
This year's game will pit alumni against alumni with the teams being coached by Lady Lions varsity coach Jim Reaker and former New Richmond varsity softball Coach Bill Gabriel. Anyone who has played for New Richmond High School is invited to participate.
There will be a social following the game at the Green Kayak in New Richmond.

NRHS hosts SBAAC girls tourney Feb. 14
New Richmond High School will host the 2015 Southern Buckeye Conference girls basketball tournament Saturday, Feb. 14 with six games beginning at 10 a.m. The NRHS Lady Lions will play at 2:30 p.m. against Bethel. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students good for all games. All games will be broadcast on WAOL-FM 99.5.

Mandatory College Credit Plus meeting
To all parents of students in grades 6 through 11:
New Richmond Exempted Village School District’s annual Informational meeting on College Credit Plus (formerly Post Secondary Educational Options Program) is Thursday, March 5, 2015 starting at 6:00 pm in the High School Choir Room.
This is a mandatory meeting for any student who wishes to pursue earning both college and high school credits whether at New Richmond High School or at UC Clermont via the College Credit Plus program during the 2015-16 school year.
A Representative from University of Cincinnati – Clermont will be our featured speaker. She will explain the state of Ohio’s new options for students in grades 7 through 12 earning college credit while in high school, and the steps toward earning these credits. Come and learn whether College Credit Plus is right for your child
