Monroe honors Mr. Massey

The staff at Monroe Elementary surprised retiring physical education teacher Curtis Massey with a retirement party at Tuesday's morning staff meeting. Mr. Massey is retiring after 16 years with the New Richmond Exempted Village School District including 11 at the middle school and 5 at Monroe. He previously taught 27 years at Covington Holmes.

The Monroe staff dresse liked their retiring gym teacher for his retirement party. Mr. Massey is picture with visual arts teacher Adrian Hawk. They're holding stop and slow signs which Mr. Massey uses when he monitors the hallways.

Monroe principal Mark Bailey tells Curtis Massey he will be missed by the staff, students and parents at Monroe Elementary.
