Monroe surpasses cancer fund goal

Monroe Elementary surpassed its 2014 goal of raising $1500 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by collecting an $1660.20.
Barb Holman's kindergarten class collected $323.50 to help Monroe Elementary surpass its goal of raising more than $1500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

 “This was a very special collection year for Monroe because our very own cancer survivor, 3rd grader Becca Bennett has been officially cleared of cancer!” said Monroe visual arts teacher and student council advisor Adrian Hawk. “I'm so thrilled and proud of our students, their families and our staff.”
