NRHS talent show to benefit After Prom

New Richmond High School's annual Talent Show will take place on Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.  Tickets for the show are $5 and will be available starting on March 31 at the high school. Proceeds benefit the NRHS PTO’s After Prom program.

Over thirty acts this year represent all five of the district's schools and include a Locust Corner first grader who's a miniature Bruno Mars; seventh graders who channel Michael Jackson's dance moves with Jason Aldean's country vocals; and high school acts covering everything from rock bands to vocal solos to Napoleon Dynamite dancing.

Other acts include NREVSD transportation director Wayne Prescott who will perform with his band for the final act, and, from outside the district, guitarist and vocalist Tim Barnes from Amelia High School will perform with an Amelia Middle School student on drums.

For more information about the talent show, contact NRHS teacher Sue Griffin by phone at 553-3191 x10204 or by email at griffin_s@nrschools.org.
